We are pleased to announce the successful projects for 2026 Small Grants. A total of £22,897 was awarded to a total of 16 projects to take place across Salisbury in 2026.

Please Note: the 2026 application deadline has now passed. 

2026 Grants will be awarded based upon the following priorities: 

  • High Quality Work: We want to support bold, impactful and aspirational projects. 
  • Inclusion and Equity: We understand that some groups face more obstacles than others. We're dedicated to making culture, creativity, and city activities more accessible to everyone. 
  • Representation: We want to support work that represents the diverse communities of Salisbury. 
  • Zero Carbon: We want to champion work that aims for net-zero carbon and environmentally friendly activity 

Grant Details: 

Grant Amounts: £500 – £2,000 

Total Grant Pool: £20,000 

Grants for: Amateur, semi-professional and professional artists, musicians, creatives, community groups and organisations with a connection to Salisbury* 

Priority: Projects focusing on areas with fewer cultural offerings, such as contemporary music and activities for young people (14-25yrs) 

Activity to happen during 2026  

What Could You Do? 

Small scale arts and culture projects (events, festivals, concerts, performances, exhibitions, etc.) 

Professional development for individuals or organisations 

Testing new creative ideas, approaches and partnerships 

Application Process**: 

Apply via this Form, explaining your project, OR 

Email a video of about your project, covering the areas in the form, max of 5 minutes to Briony Adams at salisburyculturestrategy@salisburymuseum.org.uk 

Application Deadline: Midday on 2nd March 2026 

Project Deadline: Projects must be started before the end of 2026 

Evaluation: After completing the project, you will need to submit a short report (2 pages max) explaining how the grant was spent, with proof of expenses (receipts)

w/c 2nd March 2026 - Shortlisting and decisions 

w/c 9th March 2026 - Applicants notified, and agreements signed. 

w/c 16th March 2026 - Payments schedules agreed

March 2026 - December 2026 delivery of activity

*We will accept applications of projects delivered in SP1 1,2,3 and SP2 7,8,9, or digital work that is made within the postcodes. 

**Salisbury Culture is hosted by Salisbury Museum in conjunction with other partners. Salisbury Museum will not share your data with any other party. Your data will be deleted if no award is granted. If any award is granted, your data will be held until January 2028 and then deleted.
